Shaken by the Spirit

Dr. Bruce Kwiatkowski shook up the congregation (literally) with his inspiring message on "The Name of Jesus" by which members practiced being shaken by the power of the Holy Spirit. From Dr. Kwiatkowski's message we learned we must dwell in God’s word and pray for the Holy Spirit and the power of the name of Jesus until we, this church, campus, and city are shaken by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Name of Jesus is boldly preached. “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” (Acts 4:31 NIV)

Leadership Council Historic Meeting

The Toledo Leadership Council meet on Jan 7th for strategic planning, prayer and open communication for setting goals and resolving specific issues within our ministry. This is the first time for a meeting like this under our new organizational structure.

2012 Key Verse

Toledo UBF 2012 Key Verse has been chosen.  John 8:31-32 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Christmas 2011!

Immanuel God was truly with our Christmas Service!

We give all praise and thanks to God for being with us and blessing our Christmas worship service, held December 11, 2011. The title of the message was Immanuel: God with us, based on Matthew 1:18-25. The worship service began with the CBF children presenting 3 songs around the manger. This was followed by our Praise and Worship team’s uplifting and energizing set of Christmas music.
